About Septerix

What is Septerix?

Septerix is ongoing psychiatric care by video for adults. You check in with short questionnaires between visits, AI summarises what changed, and a licensed psychiatrist reads that summary before your video visit.

Is Septerix therapy?

No. Septerix is psychiatric care: evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management with a psychiatrist. If you also need talking therapy, your psychiatrist can talk with you about options near you.

Is Septerix an emergency service?

No. Nobody watches check-ins live. If you are in danger or thinking about ending your life, call 112 or your national crisis line now. You can find one at findahelpline.com.

Your care

Will I talk to a chatbot instead of a doctor?

No. Every evaluation and follow-up visit is with a licensed psychiatrist, live on video. The AI works in the background and doesn't give you therapy or medical advice.

Who are the psychiatrists?

Psychiatrists who are licensed in the country where you receive care. You'll see your psychiatrist's name and credentials before your first visit.

What happens at the first visit?

A 60-minute video evaluation. Your psychiatrist goes through your history and current symptoms, makes a diagnosis, and agrees a treatment plan with you.

How often will I have visits?

It depends on your plan. Many people have follow-ups every few weeks at first and less often once things are stable. You and your psychiatrist decide together.

Can you prescribe medication?

Yes, when your psychiatrist decides it's right for you. Stimulants and other controlled medications have extra national rules, and these can affect what can be prescribed by video.

Can I keep seeing my GP or therapist?

Yes. With your permission, your psychiatrist can share a summary of your care with them.

Can I switch psychiatrists?

Yes. Contact us and we'll help you move to another psychiatrist where one is available.

AI and your check-ins

What does the AI actually do?

It sends standard questionnaires, summarises what changed since your last visit, lays out your past doses and reported side effects, and, only if you agree, drafts a visit note. See exactly how we use AI.

Does the AI diagnose me or choose my medication?

No. Your psychiatrist makes every diagnosis and every prescribing decision.

Can I say no to AI?

Yes. You can turn off AI summaries and note drafting at any time and keep the same psychiatrist.

What if I answer something worrying in a check-in?

You'll see crisis resources straight away, and the answer is flagged for a person on the clinical team to review. Check-ins aren't monitored live, so in an emergency call 112.

How long do check-ins take?

A few minutes a week. They use short standard questionnaires, such as the PHQ-9 for depression.

Privacy and your data

Who can see my answers?

Your care team. We don't sell your health information or use it for advertising.

Do you use my data to train AI?

Not without your separate written permission. Saying no doesn't change your care.

Can I get a copy of my records or delete my account?

Yes. Email privacy@septerix.com. Some medical records must be kept for a period set by law, and we'll tell you if that applies. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Pricing and insurance

How much does it cost?

A first evaluation is €190 for 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are €95 for 30 minutes. Check-ins between visits are included at no extra charge.

Is there a subscription?

No. You pay per visit.

Will insurance cover it?

It depends on your country. We'll share any insurance or reimbursement options for your country, so you can decide before booking anything.
