The rules for using the Septerix website and service, in plain language.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the Septerix website at septerix.com and the Septerix service ("Septerix", "we", "us"). By using the website or the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
You can contact us at hello@septerix.com.
Septerix is not for emergencies. Check-ins and messages are not monitored live. If you are in danger, thinking about ending your life, or need urgent care, call 112 or your local emergency number, or find your national crisis line at findahelpline.com.
Septerix is not suitable if you need emergency, hospital, or residential care, or supervised withdrawal from alcohol or drugs. We may decide the service isn't right for you and help you find other care.
Septerix provides psychiatric evaluation and follow-up care by video with licensed psychiatrists, supported by check-ins between visits. Your psychiatrist decides on your diagnosis and treatment using their own professional judgement.
Requesting a demo or signing up for updates does not make you a patient and does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship starts when you complete your first evaluation.
Septerix uses AI to send check-ins, summarise changes, organise your medication history, flag worrying answers, and, only if you agree, draft visit notes. AI does not diagnose, prescribe, or give medical advice, and your psychiatrist reviews everything before it enters your record. AI output can contain mistakes. You can turn AI features off at any time without losing access to your psychiatrist. See How we use AI.
Your psychiatrist may prescribe medication when they decide it's clinically appropriate. We can't guarantee any particular medication will be prescribed. Controlled medications, such as stimulants, are subject to national rules that may limit what can be prescribed by video. Take medication only as prescribed, and tell your psychiatrist about side effects and other medicines you take.
Keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for activity on your account.
If we change our prices, the change won't affect visits you've already booked.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or end access if you break these rules, and will help you find other care where needed.
Content on this website is general information, not medical advice. It doesn't replace an assessment by a doctor. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we aren't responsible for their content.
The Septerix name, logo, website, and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use the service as intended.
We work to provide a reliable, safe service, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that treatment will lead to a particular result.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
You can stop using Septerix at any time. If you close your account, we'll keep your medical records for as long as the law requires. See our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Septerix is established. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in your local courts.
